About our school

Aidan College is a mixed day and boarding secondary school for both Ordinary and Advanced levels. The school was founded by Mr. Emmanuel Ssempala Kigozi in February 1998, in memory of the Late Brother Aidan Michael Mulabannaku.

Brother Aidan was a member of the Brothers of Christian Instruction of Kisubi Entebbe, and elder biological brother to His Eminence Cardinal Emmanuel Wamala.

Bro. Aidan was Head Teacher of St. Henry’s College Kitovu from the year 1963 to 1779, and did a lot to see Mr. Emmanuel Ssempala Kigozi through his secondary education, because the late had no means of paying fully for his school fees, having been orphaned at the age of 3. His Eminence Cardinal Emmanuel Wamala inaugurated the school on 22nd August 2009.

The school sits on a 9-acre piece of land and has adequate space for all activities and expansion.
