The Journey Through Time: 1983 - Kijjabwemi S.S. Started: In 1983, Kijjabwemi S.S. began its journey, emerging from shared ideas within the Kijjabwemi church congregation and the Anglican community.

1984 - Government Aid Received: A significant milestone was reached in 1984 when the school became government-aided, setting the stage for continuous growth in infrastructure, enrollment, and overall management.

2006 - Population Increased: By 2006, the school had grown steadily, hosting a population of over 420 students. It achieved satisfactory academic performance, with students excelling in their UCE exams.

2007-2011 - Challenges Faced: The subsequent years posed challenges, witnessing a decline in various aspects of teaching and learning.

2012-2017 - Transformation Era: From 2012 to 2017, Kijjabwemi S.S. underwent a remarkable transformation, both physically and academically, marking a resurgence in its commitment to excellence.

2017-2022 - STEM Curriculum Introduced: The school embraced the future with the introduction of the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) curriculum in collaboration with Marymount University, Virginia - USA. This initiative has been a blessing, rejuvenating the teaching and learning of sciences.
